Bachelorette Party Invitation

My little sister is getting married in less than a month, and as maid of honor I'm hosting the bachelorette party along with the other bridesmaids.

We aren't the most girlie girls. Don't give us animal prints and hot pink invitations, give us funny! make it simple, to the point, stay feminine, and always keep it classy (well try). Hopefully this is it. She said she liked it? 

While I was googling inspirational images for the invite, I stumbled on the photo in the invite. It was love at first site, I had to use it. Then I found another pink invite, married the two and this what I came up with. I also added some bling to the image like she is wearing a really big diamond. I think it's important to add a little something something.  

Mother's Day Gift

Mother's Day Gift: so I went down to my favorite arts and craft store and bought an 'M' and an 'O'. My sister's favorite new color is purple. Good thing she is a super cheese ball, she's eats up these things up!

I have to admit, I've had a hard time not being able to see these kids as much as I used to, so I try to take advantage every chance I get. This photo location was not ideal, but dinner was all the time I had to get this project complete. It was cold, too!! Sister's birthday is in December.

Maybe this summer will be a better time to redo this look. This picture three separate images to make an 8x10 for her class room. I also printed a 4x6 of each image to insert in a single frame with with three pictures. 

Guy's Dirty Thirty Party Invitation

Guy's Dirty Thirty Invitation: It's hard pill for me to swallow but not every invitation I create gets used. I have some competition in my circle of friends. 

You might be wondering who Charles Langley is like most do. Well, that's what they call a Coors Light. With this group most alcoholic bevs have a person's name. Of course it's years in the making and there is a funny story as to how it all began. 

My invitation may have not made the cut, but at least the cake looked like this. 

Bridal Shower Invitation

Bridal Shower invitation: I try to design for the person the invitation or card is for. Wow, it's hard sometimes. Not this time, of course. Amber is simple and classic without being too frilly. 

I found some unique vertical envelopes that help drive the shape of the piece.

Amber's signature color is green, so I had to have a touch of it somewhere. A little green bling in the center of the head flower and this was ready to be signed, sealed and delivered. 

Father's Day Family Invitation

Father's Day Family Invitation: you know, sometimes the creative juices are following that I'll find any excuse to create. Plus, I love making people feel special. 

Yep, that's family and a photo of camping trip. The two worked out perfect. Turned out to be a nice father's day for use all, too.

Boy's Roller Skating Birthday Party Invitation

Boy's Roller Skating Birthday Party Invitation: I'm always challenged when it comes to making boy gifts and cards. I love how simple this invitation is without being too 'kid' like. A little addition of the balloons in the background took this from a photo of legs to 'there's a party somewhere'.

Girl's Slumber Birthday Invitation

Girl's Slumber Party Invitation: This inspiration came from a co-worker's daughter. She does cards and invitation and had the most simple designs. The wheels were really turning after I saw a few. 

Lucky for me, I have a sister that doesn't mind going with my creative ideas.
